Today we started our PMP(perceptual motor programme). This is a programme based on balance, body awareness and control and co-ordination. It provides some of the fundamental skills needed by junior children to be able to function to their full potential in the classroom.
It is a fun way to learn these skills and is run as 5 stations that the children move around. Each week the activities can change. Please feel free to come and watch. We attend these sessions 2.30pm on Wednesdays and 10.00a.m on Thursdays.
I think PMP is a great way to help stimulate both sides of our brains so we are switched on for our learning. You all look like you are having fun!!
